Soroptimist International Quadrennial Report 2020-2023
This report is a celebration of our achievements over the last four years and hopefully an inspiration for the next quadrennium. The aims and goals have been high, and our members have worked hard to achieve them. Through the work that we do, we have raised the profile of Soroptimist International and made a very real difference to the lives of many women and girls, and their families across the world.

Soroptimists Leading Greener Futures
Environment Day Message
SISEAP President Anthea Penny, " Today we reaffirm our duty to protect Mother Earth. Climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution which threaten lives, livelihoods and future generations. "
As Soroptimists, SISEAP champions practical, community‑led solutions: such as planting native trees, promoting sustainable livelihoods, advocating for climate‑resilient policies, and educating women and girls as environmental stewards. By mobilising volunteers, forging partnerships and supporting grassroots projects, we turn commitment into measurable action. Together we restore ecosystems, reduce waste and empower communities to adapt and thrive. I call today on members and partners to deepen their collaboration and scale proven initiatives, for a healthier planet and a fairer future for all.
Soroptimists are women leading greener futures, caring for the environment is a objective of SISEAP with Soroptimists environment projects addressing SDG’s 12,11,and 13. Soroptimists from across our 13 countries in Asia Pacific during 2025 expended
$15,375 AUD to implement:
- 21 EnvironmentProjects,
- 4 Environment Advocacy Actions
- 24 Environment Activities
- 4367 using a total of Volunteer Hours
- 2402 women and girls lives were improved.
because women and girls often bear the brunt of environmental degradation due to traditional gender roles, improving the environment directly transforms their daily lives, safety, and future prospects.
